As Bizzarrini said, Picchio chose to compete in races and categories suitable for developing know-how applicable to road cars as well.
Therefore, in more than three decades it has produced two-seater covered-wheel racing cars and competed on track, in endurance races and on the road.

Picchio SR2

Designed in accordance with European ISRS/SRWC championship regulation.
BMW, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar aspirated engines up to 3000 cm³. Ran and won with Gianni Giudici, Arturo Merzario, Raffaele Raimondi in both the Italian Prototype Championship (CIP) and the SRWC European championship.

Picchio SRP2

Designed in accordance with Grand Am regulations, SRP2 category.
The engine is a BMW, inline 6-cylinder, 3000 cm³ displacement. Ran and won with Darren Law in the US Grand Am championship.
It can participate in historic races in the USA.

Daytona Prototype

Designed in compliance with the rules of the homonymous class launched by Grand Am (BMW V8 engine). It has raced getting a prestigious third place at the 24h of Daytona with a team made up of Jeff Bodine, Darren Law, Luca Riccitelli.
It can compete in historic races in the USA.

CN2

A prototype of barchetta specialized for hill climb. FIA homologated both CN2 (with Honda type R engine) and CN4 (with Alfa Romeo engine), winning with Renzo Ingrassia and Rosario Iaquinta.

E2B

FIA E2B/E2SC homologated prototype. The engine is a 4 cylinders, 1750 cm³ displacement and turbocharged. Winner with record in the italian hill climb championship (CIVM) with the driver Christian Merli.

P4PP

A barchetta designed in compliance with Unlimited regulation of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC). The engine is a 4-cylinder, 2000 cm³ displacement, turbocharged, over 700 hp. Promising debut with the driver Piero Nappi.

Picchio 4C

FIA E2SH homologated silhouette. The engine is a 4-cylinder, 2000 cm³ displacement, turbocharged, over 600 hp.
Winner in the italian hill climb championship (CIVM) with the driver Alessandro Gabrielli.
